Pastoral Visitation Questions

To begin with I was going to give 101 questions in this blog post, but then I realized (as I was writing it) that these 35 questions give us plenty to think about and are wonderful growth and accountability questions. Let us remember that we are not visiting people to make them like us or think better about us. We are not visiting people to make them feel better about themselves. We are visiting people to help them know God, call on God and walk according to God’s will and way. These questions will help us as pastors to discover the condition of people’s faith and spiritual practices so that we can share the gospel, pray with people and disciple them in the ways of Jesus Christ.
